Aprotek adds RoHS compliant Modem #8510R6S with optional
ZigBeeTM
RF Module to their PC/104 MODEM family
APROTEK RoHS compliant and Worldwide compatible V.92 56Kbps
Modem 8510R6S can be supplied with an optional ZigBeeä RF Module (#8510R6SZ),
four non-standard COM port addresses, extended temperature -40 to 85°
C, PC/104 16-bit J2 pass-through connector, extension phone jack and/or
speaker. The standard RJ-11 phone jack makes hookup to the phone system
a snap. Conexant® chip technology assures you the highest connect speeds
over varying line conditions. APROTEK MODEMS are jumper selectable
with IRQ 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 9 standard. May be ordered as an independently
addressable and operable UART ZigBeeä RF Module only. (#8510R6Z).

APROTEK announces availability of PC/104 compliant hard disk drive module Model #40XX
Avaliable in 20 or 40 GB capacity, the disk drive board
uses the new Hitachi Travelstar 1.8 inch 4200 RPM hard disk drive technology.
With fluid dynamic bearing (FDB) motor, Giant Megnetorestistive (GMR) heads,
and ME2PRML read channels, they deliver exceptional quietness and performace.
Power is 5 volt only supplied through the stack or an outside regulated
source through a 2-pin header connector. Drive access is through
the host CPU's 40-pin IDE interface cable and can be installed on either
side of the board.

APROTEK announces production availability of Model #5002 5 port USB 2.0 module. Operates up to 480 Mbps. Ports are independently over-current protected with a maximum of 500mA per port. Devices can be hot-swappped.

Data rates of 33.6 Kbps (Model #W8422) or 56 Kbps (Model #W8522) and the extended operating temperature (-40°C to +85°C) option will accommodate customer needs virtually anywhere in the world. Additional options include an inexpensive serial port and a J2 connector. In-stock availability ships most orders upon receipt.
